Meet Dr. Johnson

Dr. Steven Johnson is new to Loudoun Dental Smiles and focuses his practice on comprehensive family restorative dentistry. He places a strong emphasis on esthetic dentistry and dental implants. Dedicated and compassionate, he brings technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality in every patient interaction.

He is a native of Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Johnson worked in the business world prior to changing career paths and graduating from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Johnson then completed a general practice residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC with advanced training in restorative treatment, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, and implantology, as well as the management of medically complex patients. He is a certified ClearCorrect provider, a system of aligner therapy for straightening teeth.

Dr. Johnson has been active in the Mission of Mercy projects and Give Kids a Smile. Most recently, he helped with the start-up of a public health dental clinic in rural Virginia. Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and is working towards his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Johnson recently moved to northern Virginia with his wife of seven years and two young boys. He enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors hiking, camping, and downhill skiing. He and his family are very excited to establish their roots in northern Virginia and are having fun exploring their new home.
